Background Information On Herman Hollerith







Herman Hollerith was born a German Immigrant His fathers name was Georg Hollerith in Buffalo New York where he spent his childhood and he later ventured into the New York Colledge where he then went to the columbia school of mines where he then got The "Engineer Of Mines" in 1875.then Herman asked and recieved a PHD based on his assistance on the tabulating system later he ventured into Washington DC at his home today there is a Memorial plaque in remembrance of Herman Hollerith he eventually died in Washington Dc
